Redwood City, CA - Cuesta Technologies is delighted to announce the completion of a new Web site for Sister Schools of San Diego, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cross-cultural understanding by connecting schools around the globe.
The new design and functionality available at http://www.sisterschoolsofsandiego.org affords the all-volunteer organization an opportunity to make schools, teachers, potential partners and funders aware of its mission and vast array of programs.
"We desperately needed help getting the word out about our program," said Liz Hinkle, Executive Director of Sister Schools of San Diego. "All our previous attempts at keeping our Web site up to date failed. Cuesta has taught us how to 'fish'. Their built-in content management system was easy enough for a part-time volunteer to learn in an afternoon. Now, when ever we need to add information about a new project or school, we can do it in a flash -- it's a dream come true!"

Cuesta first learned about Sister Schools of San Diego while researching ways to help their clients provide appropriate information for educators to help children deal with fear and terrorism. In late 2002, Cuesta offered pro bono Web design, development and hosting services to the organization. "Cuesta is delighted to be able to provide our professional services to such an proactive and timely educational resource," says Monty Swiryn, president of Cuesta Technologies. "It's our contribution to the organization's mission of connecting classrooms worldwide to conquer ignorance, bridge cultural gaps, and create international friendships."
